The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) was established in 1968 with the aim of advancing cancer research; from basic research to prevention, treatment and care. The Association is growing rapidly with a membership of over 6,000 laboratory, translational and clinical cancer researchers.
EACR’s aim is the advancement of cancer research in all areas of oncology – from basic research, to prevention, treatment and care. This includes support for meetings and workshops, increased opportunities for collaboration, improved communication, the enabling of developing countries to contribute to cancer research and the strengthening of education and training in oncology.
Professor Anne-Lise Borresen-Dale
